AI at Beacon

An introduction and overview of AI in the college environment.

Ethical Use

As a college student, it is your responsibility to be clear on your professor's expectations regarding the use of AI and to adhere to them. When AI is used, it should be credited appropriately. Remember that AI is not perfect and that you are the one who will be held accountable for any errors.

Beacon College Policy

Beacon College recognizes the presence of a wide range of Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs that can support various tasks. It is essential to acknowledge that AI is not intended to replace the vital elements of human creativity, originality, and critical thinking, which are foundational to academic and creative work.

In this course, if any use of AI technology is deemed appropriate, you will be provided specific instruction outlining the guidelines for their use. These instructions will include information on when, where, and how these tools may be used. It is important to note that any use of AI beyond these prescribed boundaries constitutes a violation of Beacon College’s Academic Integrity Policy.
