Halloween

Join us on Friday, October 14th from 4-5pm to learn tips & tricks from a local ghost hunting group to prepare for the ghost hunt later this month!

Use the skills learned in Ghost Hunting 101 on Friday, October 21st at 7pm as Astor Library Assistant Elise VanCise leads a ghost hunt around campus to try and track down those ghosts rumored to be hanging around some of our buildings!

Head to the library on Sunday, October 30th between 2-4pm for some fun activities, good food, and plenty of candy! Students who submitted entries for the Halloween Writing Contest will have an opportunity to thrill the audience by reading aloud their scary works. Winners will be announced at the party.

Learn the history of Halloween. Why is it celebrated? What are some of the myths of the holiday? What exactly is a "jack-o-lantern"? This program is for all ages but may be too creepy for little ones.
