What is Classism?

"Class" Relative social rank in terms of income, wealth, education, occupational status and/or power. (NCCJ.org.)

"Classism" is a form of institutional, cultural, and individual discrimination based on perceived socioeconomic status and social class which assigns a hierarchical value to ones worth based on perceived social rank.
